Brett Scott has 22 years experience in the computer data storage industry. In 1982, he assisted in securing initial funding for the start-up of the first 5.25” computer diskette manufacturing facility, X’Lnt Diskette Products, Inc. located in Dallas, Texas . Once the company was formed, he served as National Accounts Manager responsible for sales and marketing of computer diskettes to OEM software developers, hardware manufacturers, software duplicators and computer retail store chains. As data storage technology advanced, he joined Teijin Shoji USA, Inc. in 1993 as Sales Manager. His responsibilities included high volume sales of optical grade polycarbonate resin to OEM CD and DVD replicators in North America as well as coordinated sales strategies and customer service operations with the sister company Teijin Kasei America, Inc. As a result of increased demand for polycarbonate resins in North America , he joined the Teijin Kasei America division in 2001 and relocated to Atlanta Georgia . In his current position as Vice President, he is responsible for all optical and general purpose grade polycarbonate resin sales, marketing, logistics and administration activities in North America .
